The sunrise shells have been bezel set into a gold filled bezel with a sterling silver backplate and strung upon a gold fill chain. The chains are both 18 inches long. Should you prefer a different length please leave a note at checkout. 

It is considered very lucky to find a sunrise shell as they are rare and endemic to Hawaii and often found only at great depths, no shells are ever picked alive. Each sunrise shell is truly original and unique in its own way making this piece a one of a kind treasure.
