14K Gold Bezeled Moonrise Necklace

This necklace is handcrafted out of 14K gold and features a stunning green Hawaiian Moonrise Shell. 

The green Moonrise Shell measures at approximately 24mm at its widest part and is adorned on an 18" 14K gold double rope chain that is fastened with a lobster clasp. The bezel and bail is also made of 14K gold. The backplate is sterling silver but cannot be seen when worn.

It is considered very lucky to find a sunrise shell as they are rare and endemic to Hawaii and often found only at great depths, no shells are ever picked alive. Each sunrise shell is truly original and unique in its own way making this piece a one of a kind treasure.
